| Those who are interested in aviation, flight logistics, pre-flight planning, aviation technical and meteorological aspects and constraints, followed by the opporunity to have either actual 'hands-on' involvement in the rigging, inflation and launching of a hot air balloon or just to come out and observe the ground works involved in getting a flight off the ground, whichever the participant wishes.

Itinerary - Registration
- Introduction to the Aerosaurus Balloons and Hot Air Ballooning
- Talk on weather and its implications for ballooning, and demonstration of pre-flight weather check procedures
- Pre flight Operations - how suitable launch sites are selected, including land owner relations, consideration of livestock, weather conditions and wind direction.
- Break. Tea/coffee and light snacks provided
- Introduction to ballooning equipment, including burner demonstration. Assisting in preparing equipment for forthcoming flight.
- Travel to the afternoons scheduled Exeter area Public Transport flight; under supervision you will be offered the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the crewing activities including inflation of the balloon; following the balloon whilst in flight; compass and map reading; locating the balloon once it has landed and assisting in packing the equipment away.
- After the flight you shall return to the Aerosaurus Offices and presented with an Aerosaurus crewing certificate and map showing the balloon flight route.

* Participants must be 18 years of age or over
* For safety reasons this activity is not suitable for those participants with certain disabilities
* Voucher redeemable on selected weekday afternoon/evenings April - September 2008, subject to course availability and prior weather check
* If the *flight is cancelled due to poor weather conditions you will be re-scheduled to return for the flight-only part of the activity at a mutually convenient date.
