Taunton: Situated on the banks of the River Tone. This is a busy traditional market town and the capital of Somerset. The town has many striking buildings including Taunton Castle, the Municipal Hall and the church of St Mary Magdalene.

With a flight in the Taunton area you will see the Vale of Taunton full of orchards, lush hedgerows, narrow lanes, hamlets and willows growing along the ditches and streams. Castle Cary: An attractive market town with picturesque cottages made from the local golden ham stone. In the 19th century the town was known for its horsehair weaving and is today home of the only horsehair manufacturer in the country.
